I posed this question because I have been asked it so many times and I wanted to know what you girls think. Thanks for your responses.

I think that it is slightly rude of people to ask how many carats your diamond is b/c they equate that with money spent. FH could have given me a RING Pop and I would have been happy.. (even though I am happy with my ROCK...)

I have to be honest....I never really thought about it! I have only been asked by my closest friends and I didn't even think twice. I get lots of people asking to look at it but I guess that question could be really rude depending on who and when asked.
