Ok so we met with the priest yesterday, and we are officially booked with the church! yay!! Now I can't stop thinking about the times. The latest we are able to have the ceremony is 3pm. We are only having a ceremony, so it won't be longer than a half hour (most likely). Our reception starts at 7:30! I realize we will go somewhere and take pics etc, but what the heck are we going to do for almost 4 hours?? Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a problem?? I'm kinda freaking out about it! I want to change the reception to 6:30, but they didn't give me a choice in the first place, so i feel like they will give me a hard time.... what to do...

I think u have PLENTY of time to take ALL of ur pics.... I think there are some girls whos ceremony is at 2 and reception at 7....
I think its better to leave time so u can take ALL of the pics u want and Enjoy ur cocktail hr

I think the big gap in time is great, that way you have a few minutes to spend with FH just enjoying the moment. You wont be as rushed.

We have pretty much the same gap (3pm full mass, probably with receiving line ends at 4:00 - some pics by the church will leave us leaving for 2nd pic location at 4:30). CH starts at 7:00.
It's better to have the big gap for pictures but my owrry is what is everyone going to do in that time in between that is not staying at the hotel and taking the shuttle/coach bus from the church to the RH. But you know, I can think about it... it will get figured out somehow.
