I have two jobs. I'll post my business first. Since its the one I like lol.
I have my own car Detailing Business. I have been doing it since 1988. I do everything from Hand Washing to Complete Cleanings of cars. I will make your car or truck look brand new.
My second job, which I do from monday to friday is: I work at the NPD GROUP. It is a Marketing Research Firm. I am an Analyst, and I research Mobile Audio products like car stereos and speakers and also Telecommunication products like Cell accessories and telephones.

Re: What do you do for a living?
franksbride: I did claims for 3 years.. it was tideous but had it's moments. Every day I'd come home with 'The claim of the day' some idiot suing for something really stupid.
Like the board director of a co-op who decided since the board could not afford to repair the sidewalk outside she went out on a winter day and 'slipped' on that crack causing injury and enabling her to sue the co-op as she could prove they did know of the situtation and won a quarter of a million dollars.. gotta love it!

Re: What do you do for a living?
I an Assistant Managing Editor for a children's book publisher that is a division of the Penguin Group USA. I am looking to move into a more creative area of publishing since what I do is very much on the business side of the industry and I have been here for almost 4 years so it is time to find something fun.
I also teach ESL to adults two nights a week in the continuing education program of my town's high school. It is very rewarding and possible career change for me...
