Literacy coach at a middle school in NYC.

I've only been in this position since Sept. (was a classroom teacher before that). It has its perls, though working with adults is not what it's cracked up to be!

tell me you at least help your teachers . i'm a teacher and i love it, but it is sooooooo friggin axhausting...sometimes i want to cry. but my kids crack me up!

I am in Advertising. I enjoy what I do and the people I work with but it is my boss which makes my days stressful.

I am a teacher....and I hate my job! Not the actual job of teacher but where I work...NYC Board of Ed...it SUCKS ROYALLY!! Trying to get out!

how do you find a job like this and what type of degree do you need? my husband is interested in something like this.

I have a degree in Management with a concentration in MIS (management information systems). Most QA/tester positions want some type of technical experience, like programming.

I work in research and development as a formulator of skin care products. My compnay sells is own brand Raw Materials but the actual skin caree products are formulated and manufactured for customers.. I am working on bew lines for 2 very well-known brands right now... so yes I like my job and I have fun doing it... but it is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I feel like I am not making as important impact on the world as I want to be. That said I plan on going back to school for nursing really soon. then I would like to work in a cancer center or a childrens hospital.

3rd grade teacher- love it,love my students.. has its moments but just when you are burning out, theres a vacation!!

Full time grad student, studying family therapy and also addictions counseling, this is my last full semester, I also do freelance work, editing for Pearson Education and I work at a boys residential home for substance abusing adolescents, counseling them and their families..just started recenetly but I absolutley LOVE it!!!

Therapist in a psychiatric hospital on the child and adolescent units.

I love it (most days).

Couldn't agree with you anymore. I'm a nurse in a hospital where the majority of the workforce is still women. I find the cattiness can get to be too much at times and takes away from the love of a job. I switched departments last week so I'm getting to know a new group of women everyone is very nice so far and the work is very interesting so we'll see.

I guess some things never change! Nurses will always eat thier young, and there will always be cattiness between us. That is such a shame in this day and age when we need each other the most with this shortage!

I am an ER nurse, and I am leaving my current job very soon, taking a local 'travel' position back on LI, and then hopefully off to work some assignments around the country in the fall!

I love being an ER nurse, but I am totally burnt out at my place and I need to get out of there for a while.
