The job hating thread led me to think, what do we all do everyday for work? And your FH?
I'm an Ad Sales Account Director for an out-of-home media company. And FH is an Ad Sales Account Exec at a TV Network (how we met!)

we are both happy in our respective fields, we are really lucky, i was miserable in a bunch of jobs before this...

I work for the state. I am an Administrative Assistant for the Second Judicial Department. FH is a manager at a lighting company in the city. They supply lights and electrical needs to movie and tv commercial sets.

I am an institutional researcher (enrollment figures, graduation rates, governmental reporting, U.S. News & World Report rankings) and FH is working as a retail help desk support supervisor while he's going to school to be a mental health counselor.

I work in Human Resources for a financial services company (thats not doing too well right now though bc of the economy, im keeping my fingers crossed!)

I work as a special ed teacher in Brooklyn and fh works as a senior credit manager for Wells Fargo (doing mortgages and such) -it's rough right now for him.

My full time job is a marketing coordinator at a master distributor of HVAC parts...but I also do Mary Kay on the side, which when I'm working the business, I make more than my full time job!! The only problem is that I'm not always consistent with it!! I am hating my job!! I am seriously considering going back to school for interior design...any other interior designers out there? Any advice??

FH is an insurance underwriter...
I got my undergrad in interior design...worked doing that for a bit but you don't make much money.
