to be honest, this hasn't happened too often b/c dh has pretty nice taste and usually knows what i'd like. he has gotten me jewelry in the past that i didn't know if i liked right away, but that is just b/c i am super picky but at the same time, happy with socks! but i would tell him.

oh no shana u didnt like the bag he got ya!! GRRRRR that suxxxxx...hmm well either suck it up lol or maybe say oh i lovethis but i liked the other color soo much more or the best excuse tell himhe spent too much $$ and u think u should bring it back to save $$$

He never usually gets me a gift without getting a lot of hints from me or my family members, lol. So, he's usually pretty good with that.

I slowly break it to him that it's not my taste. He has only bought me something ONCE that I didn't like and he said he'd rather me have something I love. He said he would only be upset if he made it and I didn't like it

This never happenssince I am only difficult with clothing and FH consults me most of the time with clothes- the times he doesn't, he still does really well!

My Dh never really messes up when buying for me. He knows me better then i know myself. If it ever happened i would tell him i like it but i could use (blank) more. Then i list the reasons. They usally will get the hint. I do this when hinting for my gifts.
