Re: What do you do to keep busy on an Airplane?
I buy magazines (wedding, of course), books, and I bring a ton of CDs and a CD player. Of course, if I'm on Jet Blue (my favorite airline), I just watch TV--just like at home

I have travel Scrabble :) Depending on the length of the flight sometimes I bring an MP3 player... lol, even coloring books!!! (I know I'm a big dork)
I agree- the TVs on Jet Blue are the best!

Re: What do you do to keep busy on an Airplane?
Jim watches movies on his Clie (palm) and I read
or
Jim plays his game boy and I play games on the Clie
or
I listen to my ipod with Jim and we play the quiz game.
or
He sleeps and I read and listen to my ipod.
or
We watch the in-flight show and try to laugh too loud!
ETA: Jim just 'informed me' that we read and browse the inflight magazines ... pfft excuse me forgetting the few minutes we spend browsing and expensive travel gadgets. *shrug*

Magazines mostly, sometimes a book. TV if JetBlue.
DH always tries to sleep but he's a big guy and has a hard time even fitting comfortably (he's 6'5') ... but generally, he can sleep anywhere.

Re: What do you do to keep busy on an Airplane?
love love LOVE JetBlue! :) Food Network is my absolute favorite channel in the world - I was ecstatic when I saw they had it on JetBlue, and I watched it for the whole three hour flight on the way to and from our Disney honeymoon
pre-JetBlue, I would read, sleep, or play games on my Palm. DH always stole the Palm from me once i started playing, so I would usually just read :)

sleep ETA: I fly Jet Blue whenever I can, so I will watch TV until I fall asleep...especially if it is one of the new ones with the movie selections.

Re: What do you do to keep busy on an Airplane?
I brought books and magazines (not that that helped much - any little bump and I got distracted!)

I usually try to sleep. Otherwise I have some cocktails and read trashy romance novels. They're nice easy reads and it really helps pass the time.
