I try to drink as much as I can then I look out the window and nervously clutch my seat with white knuckles.

Sleeping on a plane is a foreign concept to me... it's not for lack of trying.

yeah! so glad to hear good feedback on jet blue-we are flying them to our disney honeymoon!! question: I have a hard time reading or watching anything in the car-will that effect me in the plane? i don't think you really feel like you're moving in the plane unless you hit turbulance---other flights i've been on, i've read magazines or listened to music and prayed my nerves away!

You can rent a DVD player @ a lot of airports with a DVD.

Pick it up @ where you are leaving from and drop it off @ your final destination.

Also the beast advice I can give you is take a big bottle of water, hand lotion ( soap in bathroom and air on planes so drying) and a sweater with you. Tons of magazines.

( I work for an airline and never leave home with out those items).

Otherwise drink some red wine on the flight and snooze away

I usually fall asleep,I can't help it. DH can not sleep on a plane. When I can stay awake, I read either a book or magazine...we watch the movie(if there is one)

Read, listen to music or sleep. Maybe watch the movie if it's good.
