you fall in love with a discontinued dress? I fell in love with a dress last year, but didn't want to buy that early- it was also a bit out of my budget. I bought another dress, but keep thinking about the first. WELL, now my first dress is discontinued!!!! Is there any way of getting THE one??? (I've tried e-bay already)

depends on the designer. I fell in love w a stephen yearick dress that was discontinued and BR in NYC actually called them and they agreed to cut the dress for me if i wanted it.

I had my boutique call the designer, and they won't...my boutique doesn't have the sample either

Did you google the designer and style number in quotes? Maybe someone is selling it. Or, what you can do is, show a pic to a dressmaker and they can make it for you.
