What do you do when you get a thank you card, but not ALL of the gifts that you gave are listed?

Would you say anything?

I got a thank you card for the shower that I went to a few weeks ago for DH's cousin's fiance. She only thanked me for 2 out of the 3 gifts that I gave her. All 3 were registry items and I saw her open them, but there was a lot of chaos going on at the time.

(I am also peeved because she copied the same exact way that I did my thank you cards- My mom didn't use my 'Susan's Bridal Shower' ribbons on my bridal shower favors, so I tied the ribbons into bows and glued them on to each of my thank you cards and she did the same exact thing! And, she keeps sending all of the invites and thank yous to the incorrect city- and we know she has it down somewhere correctly because for her surprise parties, her sister writes the correct address)

edited to add: I am probably being way too sensitive about this, but the situation is that my in-laws (including this chic) almost NEVER say anything NICE to anyone EVER. So, for them to completely ignore everything I did for my wedding and never make a single compliment EVER and then to go and copy almost everything they saw makes me upset...

I know how you feel. Let it go. Some people are just INCONSIDERATE! I NEVER get thank you's from FH's side. I think it's rude.

As for her copying you take it as a complement. Too bad she couldn't copy your thoughtfullnes and good manners instead!

Since you saw her open this gift, you know she received it, so don't worry about it. Showers are hectic, her lsit keeper mayeb just didn't get it all down. I wouldn't take it personally.

I would agree with the comment that her list keeper might have accidentally left the third gift off of the gift list during the shower chaos. At my shower, there was a lot of commotion, too - and I know for a fact that one gift didn't get recorded appropriately. I ended up not knowing who the gift was from. On my gift list, each guest was listed as having given a gift - but I still had one remaining gift to which no one's name was attached. I made every effort to find out who the mystery gift was from - I asked around, etc. - but I was unable to determine who it was from. So, in the end, everyone got a thank you card from me - but I am assuming that there might be one person out there who is wondering why I only acknowledged one of their gifts...

I am sorry that she's like that. She obviously sounds like she has no sense of etiquette. And about her copying you, imitation is the highest form of flattery!
She doesn't need to tell you she thinks your ribbons were nice...she copied your idea instead! Laugh it off and thank your lucky stars you're not her!
