Awww...that's not fun. Try the IRS website - it's full of info and I'm sure it'll tell you what to do. You can't be the first person in the world to lose your W2.

Tell your employer. They will get you copies. I have done it before. The biggest problem is feeling like an *** when you tell your boss that you lost it.

Yup! My sister lost hers and it wasn't a big deal to get another one.

Just keep an eye on your credit report for a while.

You don't get to file your taxes.

Just request a new one.

Ask your employer for a new one. They have to provide it to you.
