What do you do with your engagement ring during the ceremony?

What do you do with your engagement ring during the ceremony?

Do you keep it on your ring finger or do you have someone hold it for you and put it on after the ceremony? I have no clue!

I believe you put on your right hand then afterwards you put it back on the left with your wedding band.

I've been told that you wear it on your right finger until after the ceremony.

i just got married and had the same question! i just left it on my ring finger, he put the wedding band over the e-ring and i switched it after the ceremony.

I put mine on my right hand during the ceremony then switched it over to my left during the receiving line.

OMG mine doesnt fit on my right finger!!!

Mine dosent fit on my right hand so I think I am going to have my MOH hold it for me. OR, I will take it off before he puts the band on my finger

Mine doesn't fit my right hand and it's a pain to put on and off because I have big knuckles and skinny fingers, but I may have my mom hold on to it..

Mine doesn't fit on my right hand either. I plan to keep it on my left and just have him put the ring on above it.

I forgot to do anything with it!! Right before the exchanging of the rings I remembered and switched it to my right ring finger,....i had to push it on bc it was too small for that finger!
