what do you do with your group of friends for the holidays?
we have a tight knot group of like 5 people every year we go to the cemetary to visit our good frien who passed away then all go to dinner usually we go the weekend before christmas. This year we are doing a grab bag gift swap too. We always make sure we do something.... anyone else have traditions with their friends at the holidays?

We do a christmas dinner with the girls. most are my bridesmaids. We get good Italian food and eat and drink hot cocoa and then take our anual pic by the family christmas tree! it is on sunday and i cant wait

well this year fh's friends had a x-mas party, it was this past saturday so we did that...this year my friend is having a pajama party at her house for NYE so we'll probably do that

Friends of ours used to have a party every year but couldn't do it this year so this is the first year we aren't all getting together. We were trying to arrange dinner but it just doesn't look like it will work out

in years past we have gone out to dinner and done a gift exchange this year most of us are getting married so we are heading to a bar or a friend's house - no gifts and just having a good time
we are doing it on friday which is also my birthday!!!!!

what a great idea. FH and I said once we have a house we want to make NYE our thing. A PJ party is a GREAT idea!

We usually all go out for dinner for my birthday (which is Christmas day) and that's about it. Many times a lot of friends don't even make it to my birthday dinner .

Every year a group of about 10 of us have a girls night house party. We all bring a dish and lots of wine and just hang out all night together.

we dont exchange, theres too many of us so we just say 'you know I love you, but sorry you're getting sh*t this year' lol thats our tradition
but the past few years my friend jesse has had xmas parties, so we just all try and make it there to see everyone

Our closest group of girls are going to a friend's house this year and we do a grab bag gift and I am sure drink a lot of wine, looking forward to it!

That is a great idea! Do they have a lot of room at their house?! If I have a house by next year that is what I want to do too...sounds like so much fun and you don't have to worry about driving home.

FH had his annual christmas party, and the whole office was there, it was really nice!!! These are our friends! Here are some pics!

This is our routine for about 3 years there is a group of about 12 adults and 4 kids (most of them are in the bridal party) & we go christmas caroling (English and Romanian) and we visit about 7 or 8 of our closest friends on Christmas Eve...... Every year more people invite us over.... It is so fun.......
They all offer us some hot cocoa or hot spiced wine..... ( I don't drink almost at all maybe once or twice a year) and cookies or finger food
We start in Manhattan go to Queens in Maspeth Forest Hills Corona Whitestone and then head to Long Island... we do Manhasset and then we end at Setauket....
where we crash and the kids open presents at midnight and then on Christmas Day we go to Church for Mass and then have brunch at my mothers house and we open presents...

I really wanted to have a big christmas party since its our first year in the new house, but because we have a 5 month old terror (aka puppy) , i think we may have to wait til next year But we will see a bunch of our friends after dinner on christmas eve

FH's friends have a nice Christmas party, it's this Saturday night. Each couple brings a $20 grab bag gift and that's how we exchange presents. It's a good time.
