Definitely beautiful! I am doing all tulips too.

I was tempted by other florists to skip tulips all together or to mix with other flowers because they are too soft and will droop, BUT i finally met with an AWESOME florist and she told me that they WILL NOT droop. She gaurantees me! The secret is.....use fresh flowers! I almost always have tulips at my house, they are great for the first day or so and then, even though they are still beautiful, they droop a little. But really, a good florist should have nothing to worry about because they use good stock and fresh stuff.

we are doing all white and then on a couple of accents tables (name cards) etc we are doing the deep purple tulip!! my florist is also using potted tulips for the ceremony (on the steps etc) and then people can take them home.

FM if you would like the name of the florist. i almost went with LisaT's florist (her centerpieces were amazing) but they told me that they might droop after the first hour (although i thought they were awesome and would recommend them if you have a lower budget). since i love tulips so much i am going with a little bit of a pricier florist. but the good news is if you are content with simple vases of all tulips then you are looking at HALF the flower cost (easily) as other brides!! YEAH, so glad to find another tulip loving April Bride!!! good luck!

Thank you girls so much!!! Well I definitely feel great about this decision now!! I absolutely love tulips and at that time of year I think they will be great! We are thinking of using the tulips that are white at the bottom and go up into a pink... I saw them at the florist in a book and thought they were amazing! Thanks for all the suggestions on the droop factor! I will definitely look into it and do some research! Thank you again for all your input, once again you girls have saved me from second guessing myself! :)
