what do you girls think?

I am getting married on March 2014 and i still havent looked for dresses.My FSL believes that i should start now, but i want to wait until the summer cause i want to lose a couple of pounds! should i start now? or should i wait till the summer?

I'm getting married in March of 2014 too and I am not even close to ready!! I'm probably going to go in April-May of next year.

You still have PLENTY of time! (Though to be honest, I want to start now because all my major vendors are booked and I'm itching to do something else now, haha)

You can always look now just to get an idea of what you'd like. I went a couple of months ago and didn't fall in love with anything, but man, was it fun trying them on!

Wait! I say don't start earlier than 1 year out because like you said, you have no idea how your body will change. You might lose some weight and you don't want to spend a fortune on alterations if the dress you ordered is than giant on you.

I'm also getting married in March 2014 and I haven't gone to look at dresses yet either and I think that's more than fine. I'm planning on going to look for dresses this march, about a year from the wedding, i don't think I can wait longer than that cause i'll just be too excited!!

This. I agree completely. I'm Jan 2015 bride and I don't plan on dress shopping until early 2014

I don't want to look any time soon mostly because I want to make sure that in two years I'll still want the same style dress. Who knows what designers will have in the next year...I just don't want to fall in love with something else after I get my dress

This too. The amount of dresses I have fallen in love with even before I was engaged is like 5 billion. Haha ok not really but there are a lot of dresses I thought were 'the one' just from looking at them and now I look back and think 'wow, I really don't like that anymore'
