these are similar to the scroll invites I am thinking of doing. what would you think if you received one like this

A friend of mine used theses...very elegant and classy. They did cost her much more to mail each of them.

thankfully in Elizabethan times, invites were hand-delivered, so all of those within reasonable driving/walking distance will receive it directly from me and fh- I will only mail it to co-workers and OOT'ers.

I think they're really pretty, but not my style. They have a very romantic look to them. If I got it in the mail, I'd think this is cool, different.

I did silk scroll invitations ( not the same as those) and got such great feedback on them!!! EVERYONE commented on how nice and classy and original they were!!

I don't think they will think that. I sent out 125 of them and didn't have anyone show up dresses inappropriately

I think those are beautiful and fit in with your theme perfectly!! If I received an invitation like that, I wouldn't think it was a costume ball unless it specifically said so. Do they also have the paper with a diffent color? I think if you can get those with maybe like a light ivory color it may look even more elegant... jsut an idea!!
