only one thing -- this type of dress may not be flattering on all body types. you know your girls, so if you think it would look good, i think its a great find!
and i love the different ways you can tie the sash!

it's cute but might be a little too casual for a 7 p.m. wedding (if that's your real time) -- it's cotton. i've also heard terrible things about ordering bm dresses from j crew. my fsil ordered one for a wedding she was a bm in and she and the other people that ordered the small sizes never got their dresses and the bride had to go find new ones to be rush ordered 2 months before the wedding!

I've ordered bm dresses from Jcrew before and have had no problems. But I will say I think its too casual, I love it, but its something I would wear for a daytime casual event.

My MOH wore that dress in my wedding last summer, in yellow. Some may say it is too casual, but I wasn't going for a super formal vibe. The good thing about the dress is that the satin sash does dress it up, but I know my MOH's worn it several times since w/out the sash, so she's gotten good use out of it. And, she needed minimal alterations, as it ran true to size.

the sales rep on the phone told me that the cotton has a slight sheen to it, which i imagine would give it a little bit less casual look. my MOH has a perfect body so its not that im worried about. i guess it is kind of casual for the woodlands. (church at 3 reception is at 7) but it could be dressed up.
i ordered it for her, and the Special occasions dept at jcrew is AWESOME! they overrided the final sale and said i can return it if she doesnt like it!!!

i agree with the other girls, really pretty dress but i think it may be too casual, but again it depends on the feel of your wedding that youre going for
