What do you girls think of this idea for day before!!!!

To start off, our RH has a rehearsal on the day of the wedding, so we were thinking it's kind of pointless to have an RD. Not to mention the fact that it is more money that we do not have to spend. What do you guys think about us renting the conference room at the hotel that everyone is staying at and having a welcoming party there with food and drinks? I wanted to go to the costco right there and get sushi, a hero, cupcakes, soda, pizza!!! The woman at the hotel said its around $150 to rent it and sometimes if you have enough rooms blocked it's waived. Does that look cheap?

no i dont think thats a bad idea!! i think thats really cute actually and i think your guest willl like that and feel welcome. they are spending more money to stay over at the hotel and i think thats a nice way of showing your appreciation and getting the weekend started

I think its a great idea. RD have really become just a time for family and friends to get together and spend time before the big day, its a time to get all those silly, fun, and thank you speeches out of the way. GO FOR IT!!! and if you want to run through with your bridal party who is walking down with who and stuff just do it there!

I love the idea, go for it. I'm getting married at RH too. So I'm not sure what we are doing the night before.

I think that is a great idea

Informal and fun

You can put the invitation in the OOT bags

Maybe think about hiring someone to run the party
Like at family parties my cousin has a lady come and like heat the food put it out clean it up so that she can enjoy her company

You might even be able to ask a family friend or a co worker looking for a little extra cash to do it for you

and you will have a little fun with your fam before your big day!

and i def think you should get someone to help you...my gf had a house party for VDay and she hired a random waitress from a restaurant...to serve everyone and clean up, it was great!

that sounds like a great idea, itll prolly save u a lot of money and i really wouldnt go overboard bc they are going to be eating all day long

I think that is very smart! You do what you can afford and you are surrounded with the people that love you so who cares!! It is all about the two of you GO FOR IT!!!

I think it's a great idea! Do what you can afford to do - everyone will enjoy themselves and it's convenient for your guest staying at the hotel.

I like the idea enough...I may have to 'borrow' it! I have about 75-100 OOT, so I think we should show our appreciation for them all coming in to see us!

that is a great idea Im not having anything fancy for my RD were just gunna order pizza and heros and just hang out at either my parents or our apartment.
