What do you give the calligrapher?

What do you give the calligrapher?

O.k. So I ordered the invitations, have the guest list, am almost done getting addresses...
What did you do? Write down all names and addresses and then give to the calligrapher?

Any recommendations for a calligrapher? How long does it usually take? Is there a huge difference in having it hand printed as opposed to computer printed?
TIA!!

I had my guest list on WordPerfect and email it to her. Her name is Sheryl from Alltype. She is also a vendor here. Her turnaround time was awesome. I pick up my invites tomorrow I brought her the envelopes on Friday.

i used www.calligraphylady.com. she is AMAZING!!!!

once you pick a calligrapher, they will tell you exactly how they want the addresses given to them.

I used Artistic Addressing . I shipped the envelopes to her on a Monday and they were completed by Friday and came out beautiful!

I would contact the calligrapher first to see their preferred method. It was a giant pain transferrring all of my addresses from Excel to Word! Oh my God, I'm just realiing right now I could have done a mail merge...

shoot me.
