What do you guys think...

My brother is moving to Connecticut from uptown Manhatten. I am in suffolk.

He is renting a truck tomorrow and loading it up to drive to his new house, and asked me to help 2 days ago, and I said yes.
I really do not want to, because:
A. I am going there next weekend to help him paint
b. I will have to get a ride to the train station from someone so I do not have to leave my car
c. I will be stuck in connecticut with no ride home except the ferry, and someone will have to drive to Pt. Jeff to pick me up
d. I have a bunch of cleaning and stuff I was planning on doing this weekend.

I told him last night I was not coming, and he got all ****y. Am I required to go? He is my brother....
His wife is almost 9 months prego and cannot help.

I would help if it was my bro and I ahd told him I would. Is there someone you could find to pick you up?

I told him I was going to go after he got mad, and he siad 'forget it- I don't need your help'. So I have to decide if I should just get on a train and show up.
I could find someone to pick me up.
You are right- I should go....I was hoping someone would tell me not to!

Sunny, he probably called you as a last resort b/c none of his other buddies wanted to or offered to help. I really would try to make up and help him out, esp. with a preggo wife...

I don't think he asked me as a last resort. I called him about something else and I think he just thought of it. I think he really just wants company...I am going to go.
