What do you guys think of

STD Air Freshners? Fh and I looooooved the idea of getting personalized air freshners and asking the valet team to put one in everyone's car the day of the wedding.

I just read somewhere that STD Air Freshners are becoming just as popular as wedding day ones.

What would you guys do if you got a STD air freshner? Would you throw it out after it lost it's smell or would you save it?

i assume you mean that it would be put in their cars after your eparty??
i think its a cute idea, and would love it when i got into my car. but i would then take it out and throw it away. i am so sensitive to smells i cant use air fresheners in my car or home....

No, Originally I was going to have the valet team put them in my guests cars the day of the wedding so when they go home they see 'Thanks for sharing our special day with us' Or something along those lines.

But I was browsing online before and I saw STD Air Fresheners instead of STD magnets.

i think its cute but the whole purpose of std's is so they get it before the wedding and if you want them to be handed out at the wedding then just do the air freshners instead of std

it's a nice idea... but finding a scent that would please everyone would be hard specially if, like pjc92980 had mentioned, your sensitive to smell.

will this be your favor? what about those guests without a car, those who hitched a ride?

ok if you are sending them in the mail as std's then i would say not to bother. That would never make its way down to my car - but that just may be me.

At first I was going to use them as just a little something extra. I wasn't planning on using them as my STD after the wedding, what's the point to that? I was going to use the air freshener as my STD instead of a magnet, the company personalizes them to whatever you want.

I found a website that does them and I thought what a cute idea as a special touch to my wedding. Some girls do their own little personal things to make their weddings extra special...it's the little things that count.

I think a magnet STD might be a better choice because once the smell runs out people would probably just throw them away.

So then maybe do the magnet std's and air freshener for a extra little something when your guest come back to their cars I do love the idea..hahah I must have been having a blonde moment from earlier when i replied sorry lol

I hate car freshners because I find the smell too strong. Also people who don't have cars can't really use them.

I know, I have to take that into consideration. Not everyone likes them.

What about if I get unscented? I know they have them. Those who carpool w/ someone else............that's a good ?, I never thought of that.

Maybe instead of the valet team putting them in my guests cars I could make 2 baskets Scented and Unscented and put them at a table for my guests to take when they leave? So this way everyone gets one whether it's scented or not.

Just an idea.

i think it is a cute idea and you could have the valet put it in everyone's cars, still wrapped. Just as an extra, and have a separate favor for everyone so ppl without cars don't feel left out.

I would have the valet workers give them to each guest leaving. Def. would not have them hang in the mirror. Some people do not like the smell OR anything hanging from their mirror... for example this would annoy my Dad lol

I think the save the date is a cute idea but i would save it for the wedding because i think it will be a cute surprise for all of your guest when they are leaving

That's exactly what I was thinking. It would be a good surprise to my guests when they are leaving or when they get in their cars to go home and I'll probably customize them to say 'Thanks for coming' or 'Get Home Safe, Hope you had Fun'

or something along those lines.

I like the idea for STD's because people can choose to use them or not.

I think the idea of the valet putting them in the cars at the wedding is really cute, this has actually been the topic of a couple of threads before, and I loooove my air fresheners in my car, but, for example, I am very sensitive to common scents like vanilla and coconut... they trigger migraines for me... but something more floral or clean would be cool... moral of the story, there's no way to ensure everyone will be able to tolerate whatever scent you pick.

I wish I had thought of doing them as an STD though!!! I titally would have, I love that idea!!
