So after thinking about the whole AG anxiety thread I actually woke up thinking about wedding pictures!! I am a picture whore myself...so what do you guys think of a using 'Picture Perfect' as a theme??
Some ideas I have so far: Table #s with our pictures on it
Picture Frames for favors
Have our pictures going around the cake
Photo montage
Have a huge picture of us blown up as a 'sign-in' board
Splurging on the Photo Booth for guests to use
Or will people get TOTALLY sick of looking at pictures of us?? Is this a cheesy idea or should I actually put more thought into it??
Wow! I have not seen a cake like that! I like it alot! Photo booth is a cool idea- I dont know about you but I think this day is about you and your FH! I wouldnt go over kill with the photo's of you too, but a montage and the other items seem fine to me

We are doing the photo booth, and i had the same fear of overkill, but then i thought about it...the photobooth isn't pics of you, it is pics of your guests. my problem was that my parents had bought us the big sign in frame, and i thought that combined with the album from the photobooth gave people too many 'signing' responsibilities. i definitely say have photos of yourself around, it makes the space feel more homey. my girlfriend got married at tribeca rooftop a couple of months ago, and as the elevator opened there was a poster sized shot of the bride and groom, and i thought it was a great reminder of why we were there.
do what you want...it is your day. i say go for it!

We're having pictures of our parents' and grandparents' weddings around. It will have that homey feeling, without always being us in the picture. I like the idea. I especially like the cake!

Thats exactly what I'm scared of..I definatly don't want it to be overkill but I would like a few little touches..I don't know if I should go like 'all-out THEME' or if I should just stick little photo things here and there...

Very good point..I forgot that the photobooth came with the sign-in... thanks!!!
I also like the thought of having one big picture of us somewhere..I saw that when I went to VYC and it really looked BEAUTIFUL!

I think it is fine, just as long as you don't go overboard---I love the cake--it is very different and unique. And I know a lot of couples that are having the photobooth and then giving a frame for their favor, so that the guests can put the picture of themselves in the frame.

i think the theme idea is a great one... photos, yes, love it. photos of you and your FH?.... not as big a fan of
we didn't even send out photo std's because our thought process was 'how many people, REALLY, want to look at our picture every time they go in their fridge?'
the answer we came up with?... 2. my mother and his. and we only came to that conclusion b/c they both have pics of one of us on there already.
i'm not saying that guests won't like looking at pictures of you guys... we'll definately have a bunch of pictures at our RH... over the fire place, on the guest book table...
but using them for everything is a bit much in my opinion. You and FH are the default theme of the wedding as it is... does that make sense?
But if you just use a TON of photos, like you and FH, your families, pics of your parent's or grandparent's weddings...the photobooth(so jealous i love that idea) stuff like that... i think it's very nice

Thats exactly what I DONT want to happen..lolz..yes I LOVE pictures..but I don't want it to be like 'look at me and FH..aren't we so great in all our pictures'lolz.. I def. don't want it to be overboard AT all. But some of the stuff I was thinking of doing anyway like the photo montage, photo booth (if I can save the money) and table #'s...which I think a lot of people do, without it exactly being their 'theme' ya kno? I don't know if I should go and actually make a 'theme' out of it or just add touches of it..I mean either way I only want it to be a few touches...I want everything to be very elegant....I just don't want to cross the line into cheesy...ya kno?
