OH BOY! I guess its what HAVE I done! I booked the RH and Church, Photographer and Video, DJ and I've ordered my dress... I still have to do everything else!

I can make everyone feel a bit better...All we have done is the Date..haven't picked anything out yet...FH can't even decide on a RH..we saw about 7 and he still wants to see more

-get limos -get officant -pick out invites and order from a printer friend in FL -order favors/diy -diy cardbox, programs, menus -finalized menu with RH -book reheasrsal dinner -book our honeymoon -book hotel and block for guests

Interview and book photographer, then do e-pics Block a 2nd (cheaper) hotel Make the invites and STD cards (prototypes done and supplies purchased) Order gown Have BM's see/order their dresses Put together BM gifts Decide on/ put together OOT baskets Have hair/makeup trial Have guys pick out/order tuxes make duct tape roses for place card settings Book/Finalize what i want to do for Rehearsal Dinner Purchase day of odds and ends.. my jewelry, shoes, cameras for tables, etc. Scan in photos for photo montage for DJ Decide if there is enough $$ to order a photobooth and have a flip flop basket Tie tons of ribbons on wedding bubbles containers Book Honeymoon
I'm sure there's more...I always find something I can do, but I think I'll be lost once it's all done.
edited to add: Get my mother and MIL to actually give us the addresses of thoes who will be invited I have a decent size list now, but I have a feeling it will be drastically cut due to not getting addresses in a timely fashion!

the only major vendor we have left to book is limos... then other things we have to do include registering, find my dress, find tuxes..

Did anyone else know that in other parts of the country, brides plan their weddings within a year and have absolutely no problem booking venues and vendors?? What's wrong with us Long Island chics?!?!?!? Hahahahah

I dont think we are all far behind. I have seen people pull a beautiful wedding together in 3 months and since we are 2010 brides/ grooms we are fine.
I will tell you what I have done because the havent done list scares me! lol
I have (ooo yeah positive thinking ):
Booked a reception hall Booked a ceremony place Booked a Photographer Booked a DJ Booked a Engagement Hall Thought about my theme/ colors Thought about my future DIY projects Thought about what I want in flowers, limos, honeymoon, dress, BM dress, rehearsal dinner location, hotels for Out of Town guests, cake, BM gifts, GM gifts, and of course the budget! :)
I have a lot of things in mind but I WILL get there.

all we've done is book the reception hall which is also where the ceremony will be.....sometimes I feel like I am so behind when I read what some of you girls have done... but then I say to my self... I am getting married in 586 days.... so that makes me feel better.
I am such an indecisive person that I think if I choes my dress or my girls dresses yet.. by the time Oct 2010 comes I won't like them anymore!
But I'll tell you -the moment I walked into the Atlantica I KNEW that's where I wanted to have my reception / wedding ceremony.

I have lots to do. I said that I would tackle each vendor on a monthly basis. For jan it was the RH-Westbury Manor and my church For Feb-I will be booking with 12th night on Tues For March- I plan to book limo April- DJ May-?????? (any suggestions?) June-My Dress shopping Not sure what will happen for the remainder of the year.
I'm sure I am missing a ton of other things. i.e invitations, flowers
