What do you have on your walls?

I have one picture, and a bunch of different sized mirrors that I was going to hang up on the wall in different heights to just liven up the place. I would love to do some shelves but with my old place, the walls all have plaster behind them and I don't think the shelves would hold up. I've seen pictures of rods from which pictures or other things are hung from them in varying heights and thought that would be interesting. I forgot what they are called. I think Pottery Barn has had them?

Does anyone know what I mean?

I'd also love to see pics of your living room walls just to get an idea of what I'd like to do. Thanks!
