What do you include in a church/ceremony program

I am clueless when it comes to this. Any suggestions or input aprreciated. Thanks.

Parents, Bridal Party, Readers, etc....

I'll keep thinking but I'm sure those who have done this already have a list.

I 'borrowed' a lot of ideas that other brides put into their programs....

I had pictures of when we were young and some of our engagement pics.

A timeline of other events that happened on our wedding day

One romantic poem

The Irish wedding prayer

The wedding party names and relationships to bride and groom

The readings

Romantic quotes throughout the booklet

A section for memorials for people who had died

A section for thanking the bridal party members and guests

Map and directions to the reception

I don't have mine in front of me, but I had

one page listing out everyone - parents, grandparents, bridal party, priest

then another page had the Mass - outlined by each section with who was doing readings, bringing up gifts and their relationship to us.

another page had our thank yous and contact information

and the last page had directions from the Church to the hall and the hotel

I feel like I had more pages, but that is all I can remember right now.

besides the obvious (schedule of the ceremony- what was happening when) we included the text to both readings and a paragraph about each person in the wedding party, how we met them and why they are special to us...
we also included the words to our first dance on the last page.
