What do you know about laser hair removal?

I am so Italian, at least my legs are! My fiancee is starting to hint at it now!

I dont know about the lasers but electrolosis (sp?) is supossed to HURT big time! I know someone who got one session and never went back.

I have had laser hair removal done and am currently having it done again (it's not completely permanent) for my face before the wedding. I am also Italian so I understand. I completely love it. It is a process, takes at least 4 treatments spaced with about 2 months in between. It doesn't really hurt. FM me if you want more info....I have had it done in DC area by two different centers. I highly recommend it but it's still kind of pricey.

Another sympathetic italian girl here! I don't know much about laser hair removal, but I've been going for electrolysis for almost a year now and I am so happy with the results. It does take time (I go every other week, but at the beginning I used to have to go EVERY week.) It does hurt, but the woman I use is always good about lowering it so it doesn't hurt as much. I had a hook at a salon to get hair removal treatments free. So I decided to get my bikini area done. Well let me tell you what pain feels like! It hurts, alot. Granted that area is more sensitive than your legs but your legs are also a larger area to cover. Its not permanenet and you have to go for atleast 3-5 treatments and then it will be semi-permanent. My friend got her bikini line done about 4 times and it took about 4 months before it started coming back in very fine and a year later its all back. She's crazy she did the whole area ! Basically I think you are better waxing it has to be quicker.
