honestly i have no clue. i guess i could try to sell it, but i'll probably end up keeping it.

Probably sell it because we can always use the money and we don't really have the room.

Probably keep it, I guess for the memories but I'm so short (4'11') that once they do the alterations trying to sell it might be nearly impossible

I am going to save it for my daughters (if i have any) to wear if they like. I realize they might not want to but I was devestated when I found out I coudlnt wear my mothers dress.

My grandmother had worn it and so had my mother but neither of them had preserved the dress. It is brown now and full of holes and rips...there is no way to repair it. I want to give my children the option of wearing my gown

not sure yet. i was thinking of selling it, but when i told that to my dad, he got sad (he bought me the dress). i'm short, my fiance is tall, so i'm hoping we have tall kids, so i doubt my daughter would be able to wear it - and i doubt she'd want to!

After spending all that money on it i am wearing it on the plan to the honeymoon and then sit on the beach with it on!!!!

I might end up selling it b/c who knows if my daughter would ever use it. Styles change so much thoughout the years.

If I had bought something wildly expensive I would have thrown the thing on ebay quicker than you could say honeymoon...but since it was reasonable i'll keep it...for what I don't know but FH doesn't want me to sell it either.

I don't know what I'll do with it.

Either my mom will want to keep it in her attic collecting dust .......

OR I'd really like to do a trash the dress photoshoot once the summer comes. I love that idea, to me it would feel like a cast-off of the uber-femininity of the whole 'bridal' thing. ....But my mom might have a fit that I'm ruining such an expensive dress so we'll have to see.

I don't want it to just sit somewhere forever, because I feel that's just silly. And I don't know if I'd save it for my daugher because she will have her own personality and plus, styles change all the time and I doubt what's popular now will be popular in the future.

Soo all in all that's just a long way of saying 'I have no idea'

I want to keep it for memory sakes. a daughter doesn't necessarily have to wear it, she could have a piece sewn inside her dress or make a handkerchief or something, but I hope I can still fit into it along the years.
