I am going to sell it, not because we need the money, god no, but because when will i wear it again, and maybe someone else out there really wants it but doesnt want to pay full price, it would make me feel great to give that dress to someone else to wear for a fraction of the price.
If i keep it and preserve it, it will just sit up in my attic, and i read on here, that you must keep re preserving it every 4 or 5 years in order for it to be in good condition.

I am going to keep mine. for what reason i do not know yet..
but my aunt recently had pocketbooks made from her wedding dress made for her neices, her god daughter and one for each of her sons future wives.
the dress made 7 bags I think, and she gave me one at my e-party. I thought it was very sweet. and would like to do the same if any future daughters decide they do not want to wear it.

I want to save it and make a christening gown from it---but we already have one in my family, that has everyone's name sewn in that was christened in it---but I don't know what else to do with it.

If I end up having a daughter, i doubt she would want to wear it just because styles change so much and part of the fun is getting your own dress.. but i will definitely save because it would still be fun (or funny!) to have her try it on.
I'm going to try on my mom's dress soon.. and no way would I have worn hers.. but it will be fun! she just has to get it out..

Keeping it. I am def taking that bad boy out on our one year anniversary and wearing it again! The only reason is better not fit is because I am pregnant!

Im going to keep it and hopefully I have another girl (we have one already she's 21 months) so then I can bring it to someone that I know and have them make it her christening gown. My friend did that with hers for their daughter and it was beautiful.

I plan on keeping it and wearing it when I go out, to an event, a wedding, OMG imgine wearing a wedd dress to another brides wedding, lololol. MY mom kept hers for me, its nice but I wanted a new one

prob preserve it - and make christening outfits from it - so i put save for children

In my family, we usually save it and make the christening dresses/outfits out of it for the future children.

going to cut off the train bottom and preserve it for christening outfits.. then... the all mighty DYING IT BLACK! so it can be my LITTLE BLACK DRESS!! no one will ever know! i cant wait! need to find a good seamstress that can do it for me! why not get some use outta it right?

I really can't deceide.
I love how the trash the dress pics come out, but at the same time I want to save it forever. Maybe make some Christening outfits out of them, or save it for my daugher. I know she won't want to wear it for her day..but just to try on.
