What do you ladies think of having mixed centerpieces?

What do you ladies think of having mixed centerpieces?

I'm debating using half high and half low.
Any suggestions? Does anyone have a pic of that?

I don't have pics - but that's what I'm doing. Our ceiling is not that high, so we're mixing them.

I am doing half high and half low. The reason why is because the celing in the hall is low.
