What do you plan on doing with your tax refund money?

We got FH's taxes done yesterday and he's getting about $3k back. I should get about $4k back. Unfortunately, FH won't let me buy anything with it. He's says it's part of our 'nest egg'. Anyone going crazy with their new found $?

I am putting mine in a house fund. It won't get here before the wedding, I don't think.

It's basically already counted for in our wedding budget

Paying off my credit card that I just put this semesters text books on, and the rest into the old IRA account

Us too! After adding up how much money we need by Sept/October, the tax money will greatly help!!

I'm a tax accountant - so me doing all your taxes gives me 'overtime pay' so I can pay for my wedding...

Last year i paid off the rest of my jeep. And i'm always a good girl... so i'm sure i'll put it towards our wedding account or towards land we hope to buy. I've always been very practical!

That all depends on what FH does with his. If he puts it into the wedding account, then I will as well. If not, well then I guess I will do with it what I see fit!!

wedding budget definitely- I hope we get a lot back - we will find out on Feb 6th!!

We already accounted for the money going towards paying off some of the wedding expenses.....why do you think I made sure the wedding was after tax season is over??
