What do you plan on doing with your tax refund money?

We got FH's taxes done yesterday and he's getting about $3k back. I should get about $4k back. Unfortunately, FH won't let me buy anything with it. He's says it's part of our 'nest egg'. Anyone going crazy with their new found $?

Credit Card Bills and the Wedding - our tax refund is gone before we even got it!!

I'll probably do something practical like putting the 4k towards my Roth IRA. After 30 years on an 8% return, it'll be 40k, after 60 years, it'll be about 400k.

Now that's smart investing. Hehe!

if I was planning a wedding, it would probably go to that. Since I'm not, it's going towards our home improvements.

we just bought a house so were expecting to be getting alot of money back because we paid so much in mortgage interest

to pay off my credit card (then it is being cut up and never used again!!) and whatever is left is going into the house fund!!

FH's is going towards his CC, then I am cutting it up for him.

Unfortunately, paying down some credit cards and if we have some extra I'd like to pay down a vendor or two
