- one mini wine bottle - some fruit - granola bars - a map of the area - and maybe a little scroll with some words of thanks for travelling so far to be with us on our special day. And then listing out some of the nearby cool things to do (there aren't many) like nearby beaches, shopping, wineries, etc....

i'm putting a bottle or two of water...some little snacks (pretzels, chips cookies) a note of things to do in the area and maybe some mints or gum or something. nothing extravagent, but keeping it nice.

Ours sound pretty similar. I'm not sure if we're doing a full bottle of wine or a mini bottle though. We're also putting in those water crackers with some cheese. There's some kind of spreadable cheese that doesn't need to be refridgerated, but I don't remember the name. I don't know if we're going to put in fruit because it might spoil sitting out by the hotel desk (I'm guessing that's where they leave them to be picked up, right?). We'll also put in water, homemade cookies, and probably a map of the area.

Well, there is always the Old Bethpage Village restoration. that isn't far! I used to live right near the State park, so i am fully aware of the lack of entertainment in the surrounding area. The beaches aren't too close, but if someone is staying the whole weekend, they may take a drive.

We're putting in a bottle of water for each person in the room, juice boxes for any kids, individual size chips or cookies, granola bars, mints, a map of the area as well as things to do in the area.
