Ive been sick for four days now and my symptoms dont seem to be going away no matter what i do. I am missing class today b/c I have a runny nose, sore throat, and my head feels like someone placed a brick on it!
I have tooken: Vit C tablets Day Quil Tylenol extra strength Gargleing(sp?) throat with warm salt water Hot tea non-stop
Dont know what else to take I hate being sick, cant get anything done!

Airbourne really does work. I don't use it but it works for my hubby! I don't like the taste of it either......but he'll eat/drink anything

could it be allergies? i have terrible allergies this year and I never get them. I would say go to the doctor... I know it's a pain in the butt but they may be able to give you something to knock it right out of you!

drink tea and have chicken noodle soup, it should help your throat and any congestion you may have. Feel better!

I really think nothing helps more than just sleeping it off. Drink PLENTY of fluids. Also, try to get some fresh air to clear out your lungs! I hope you feel better soon.

I swear by drinking hot toddy's, it's pretty much just tea with a kick I put honey, lemon, sugar & a nice amount of scotch in with my favorite tea (I like raspberry zinger) and I take it with an aspirin before bed. and if it doesn't help the cold, hey at least you might get a little tipsy!

I would say Airborne (in the vitamin section) but usually that is more preventive. Just relax and take it easy-and lots of rest. Are you sure it is just a cold because I thought I had a cold a couple of months ago and it was strep. Maybe you should go to the doc or talk to your pharmacist. I hope you feel better soon

when I'm sick, I take tons of Airborne or something called Emergen-C. I think they're pretty much the same thing. Usually when I get sick, it feels like I'm sick forever. But last time I got a cold, I drank about 5 servings of airborne throughout the day and felt better the next day. Feel better!!!

Take zicam and tylenol sinus, it sounds like you have a sinus cold. Or claritin D. They will dry you up, the claritin might work a bit better for decongestion, but the zicam will help you get over it better. I use the qtips in gel type, you place in your nostril bcause I hate the taste of the spray and the tablets. HTH and hope you feel better soon!

I have found that Theraflu works really well, but it makes me VERY tired, so I would only use it at night. During the day, Tylenol Cold works well. Hope you feel better soon!!
