I bought a bunch of wine glasses and am painting the flowers myself w/ enamel paints (this way they're dishwasher safe and hand washing safe).

Thsoe are great. YOu might want to include a little note in the boxes that says they are dishwasher safe.
For my friend's shower, her brother painted flowers on little glass boxes & her sisters filled them with hershey ksses.
That's my favorite favor ever.
I ate the chocolate on the way home & keep matchbooks in the box.
I think its extra-special beacuse I know he painted it.

We're giving them 2 per box - 1 box for each couple and 1 box for each single (this way they have a pair)

The paint is by Folk art and it's their ENAMEL paint (it has an E on the top) - they dont' have it at Michaels but they carry it at walmart.

About 300 ppl are being invited but I'm not sure how many will come. All I know is I'm going to paint a lot of glasses now so I'm sure I have enough and if I need to paint more then I'll do that w/in a week of the wedding. The paint is great b/c you paint- let it dry for 1 hour and then bake it in the oven for 1/2 hour and it's DONE!!!

No- I use Folk Art paints for everything that I paint. The enamels are better for glass b/c they won't come off.

and baking the calss doesn't break it? Did you have to get a certain type of glass?
