There is a possibility we may split our photography / videography between Proline and Duet.. having one company do one thing and the second do the other (FI likes video better from one... blahblahblah)
Do you girls know of anyone who has done that between two pretty big vendors?

I haven't yet but have thought about doing this also. Their is one photographer I really like but the sample video I saw seemed a bit shotty. So I ma have to ask to see another video (the entire video) If I don't like it then I will use someone else. I was against this in the beginning. I thought I would be better if photo and video was done by the same vendor but I reather get great pics from one and a great video from another. Know what I mean? Just make sure that is ok with each vendor before you book. If not you may have to choose someone else.

i don't see anything wrong with that...just make sure you are upfront with each vendor and let them know you will be using someone different...let them know who it is...and there ya go! i'm sure it's not the first time it's happened...you'd be surprised how many brides do that.

I am doing this... Out of curiosity... Who's video do you like better??? Duet or Proline?
My photo is from BM but I don't plan on using them of video.
My FH likes the Duet video, but we haven't scene proline...

My FH seems to like Proline better for video and photography better in Duet... I think we may do this - no final decisions yet though!
