Re: What do you think?

be careful with the sunflowers.
these are my absolute favorite flower. i have them all over my kitchen, an anne geddes sunflower doll & all.. ask your florist about sunflowers.
they are not in season in may (we are both may) and therefore, more expensive for your florist to get. also, when out of water (when used in a bouquet) they will wilt really fast if its a warm day! trust a true sunflower lover! the flower part wilts & falls off!
but if you can pull it off go for it! the invite is really pretty, heres some more stuff for you ( i planned on doing a sunflower wedding theme also but changed my mind after hearing its difficult).
you can also do pew bows and place a sunflower through each one.

Re: What do you think?

I like them, very pretty and simple. I dont like invites with too much froo-froo. Those are really nice.

Re: What do you think?

Thanks for the pictures girls. I think the sunflower invites that Yabbobay put up have a little too much going on for me, but I think they are very nice. Just not my taste. I do love the cake though!

Re: What do you think?

I like them, especially if you are going to use them to set your theme. I think Jennbaby made a good point about using them out of season though. Good Luck & let us know what you decide!

Re: What do you think?

I also saw a picture once of placecards resting on sunflowers. One per each place card. Real pretty but expensive though.

Re: What do you think?

I agree with Jennbaby with that you have to be careful with sunflowers since they wilt easily and are top heavy...but there are many variations of sunflowers and maybe you can have those instead? I like sunflowers as well but am thinking of doing something similar (can't think of the flowers right now that look like sunflowers but don't have that heavy weighted bud at the top).
