If you are already having second thoughts, I'd say return it and continue dress shopping until you find the one of your dreams. Finding my dress was the most fun! I must have tried on 50 gowns before I found 'the one'. You have plenty of time, so I say keep looking! HTH!

Aww, I'm sorry you're having second thoughts about your dress! I don't see a photo but I'm sure the dress you bought is beautiful!

Well, it's not that I dont love the dress. It looks fabulous on me. It's just hard to change that image in my mind of me walking down the aisle in a flowy wedding dress instead of a ball gown.

My suggestion is try more on...I bought my dress almost 3 yrs BEFORE my wedding we didn't even have a date set yet we just knew we were going to do it though. I LOVED it so I bought it plus... seriously it was dirt cheap it was $5 on clearance... so I figured what the heck if i dont like it i will sell it on Ebay. I went and tried on 35 other dresses after we set a date because other people 'weren't sure' if they liked my dress, I still LOVED it!!! I went to Bridal Salons I went to consignment shops, everywhere and STILL.. went back to that dress I had in my closet for years... Point is when you find the one you LOVE you know it.

i'd say listen to what your heart says... I went to sooo many stores and tried on alooot of dresses with my mom and sisters loving many of them but I didn't feel anything so I kept on going. I honestly didn't have a good feeling at bridal reflections. I thought the sales women was way too pushy and drove me crazy so I left the store not only without a dress but annoyed. I loved village bridal in babylon. They let you look around and were honest, not pushy and saleslike.

Definitely try more on...the Dress is pretty but if its not what you want don't do it. When I went shopping I said I want this this and this in a dress the sales woman tried to get me to try others on I was like no this is what I have wanted for all I can remember (big ball gown with cathedral removable train) I found my dress tried it on and that was I got the first one I tired on. I tired one 2 more and was like no that's the one. I have pies of it up here but it is from the first day I tired it on so there not close up cant really see the detail. But go with your heart!!

I say you should definitely keep trying on dresses and see how you feel when you are in one that matches your dream dress image in your head. And don't listen to the salespeople-the style of the season shouldn't take away your dream. A ball gown is classic and can be worn ANY season!

I would need to see it on you to know for sure, but go with your gut. You have a lot time so try on as many dresses as you can.

the dress looks stunning..it's my kind of style though, and if it's not yours then you should definitely look for one that makes you happy

Try on a ball gown dress one in which you feel is 'puffy' to the amount that you like. Take lots of pictures...i think you said u have a week to return it. I feel that if you are having second thoughts then its not for you. YOu will be walking down and you should feel PERFECT not i love it but i would be happier having the ball gown dress. Thats the same way i am. If you are happy with a ball gown then hun go for it.

those ladies at bridal reflections- they will tell you anything to get a sale!! I went there just to try on a sample for my mom because they were the only ones that actually had a sample of my dress- i have a big skirt with pickups and guess what- they were all telling me it was timeless lol.
my point is, it is a very pretty dress, but if you always wanted a ball gown skirt, you should definitely at least try one on- who knows, you might not end up liking it as much. But at least you'll know! most people have second thoughts about their dress at one time or another- but already?

i think that dress is absolutely beautiful. i have an idea of the type of dress that i want but every time i tell someone they all say, once you actually try on dresses.. you never know, something might catch your eye, something you originally didnt picture yourself in and that could be your dress. i think you look beautiful in that dress! but if youre unsure, go try on EVERYTHING you can imagine. good luck! but as an outsider.. i say keep this dress!!! you know you look great in it!!!
