What do you think?

First I want to reintroduce myself...my name is Tee and I was the future bride who loss my job and my FH works in the financial market so we were contemplating postponing the wedding or trying other options....thanks to God's blessings I was able to find another job and really negotiate with our RH so....WE BOOKED OUR RH...WE WILL BE GETTING MARRIED ON 9/5/09!!!

But I'm also scared because we have a lot of planning to do in less than a year!

My question is what do you think about the following wording on a Save to Date card (its a take on the Mastercard commercials and the fact that my FH uses the word Foolishness non-stop...lol!):

A proposal in Madison Square Park: FREE
A celebration dinner for two: $132.25
Missing our wedding on 9/5/09: FOOLISHNESS!!!

SAVE THE DATE
September 5, 2009

Tee ___________ and Jay ____________
are getting married

New Rochelle, NY

Formal Invitation to Follow

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK????

Mind you when I said it to my mom - she didn't get it...LOL!!

If thats something he says to everyone on your STD list, then it makes sense... otherwise, people who are out of the loop totally wont get it

I like it. I think it's cute. Most younger couples will get it because they tend to watch a lot of TV. And even if they don't, they'll know that you're getting married on that date. So, as long as you get your point accross, let them figure out the rest.

i don't think it matters at all if they've seen the commercials. It's pretty self explanatory. If they don't relate it to the Master Card, I think they'll still find it to be cute.
