I just got a text from my cousin whose wedding Im in and she making us all get the same shoe as her SIL who just bought shoes for another wedding.
I dunno maybe its just me and Im so laid back but I would never force anyone to wear the same type of shoe. I wasnt planning on getting a 3 inch heel which these are since the last time I wore 3 inch heels to a wedding the shoes were off in 2 second and um I dont like the shoe.

I guess maybe if they are tea or cocktail length.
I ordered my dresses last night and told the girls to get whatever they wanted as long as it's silver because there is silver beading in the dress.

well i think its ok if the dress is short... only cause everyone will see the shoes.... other wise no way... and 3in heel is really not reasonable!

they are short dresses but my feet are going to fall off and they look like they run narrow and yeah I was going to go to sandy's and try to find a wide wide for comfort. ::sigh:: I guess this is my cousins bridezilla moment

haha don't worry.. i can't do heels either.. not because they hurt my feet. But I don't think I've ever worn a heel (even a small one) where I didn't end up flat on my face or with bruises on my a s s .

I am not making my girls wear the same shoes but I would like them to be peep toe and in black... but any heel height and any style of peep toe is fine by me

my girls actually suggested that they all wear the same shoes I told them no..their dresses are long and no one will see them..they all wear really high heels but my moh(sister ) has flat feet so she cant wear a heel that is too high because they kill her feet.I think I would consider if they were tea length dresses though

I personally hate the 'Everyone has to match' idea even down to the same hair style but that is just me

Im not making my girls wear the same shoes. I want them to be comfortable. When I was in my friends wedding we went shopping for shoes and she let us pick the our own and then got them dyed to match the dress. i dont think they should wear the same shoes

I think its not right to have everyone wear the same shoe. My feet are a little wide so some strappy sandle shoes dont fit right. When its my turn they can wear what they want as long as its the same color.

I would ask everyone to wear the same color shoe (like all black shoes) but I don't think I'd ever ask anyone to buy a pair of shoes so they all had the same pair...especially since they might not like the shoe and never wear it again.
I would just take a stand and say no, I can't afford a new pair of shoes that I am never going to wear again but I'll try my best to wear a similar shoe...but that's just me.

If it wasnt floor length I would probably do this, but I'd probably have all the girls try on and agree on a shoe, definitely not something strappy and uncomfortable

I dont love it because i have wide feet too but I do understand if the dresses are short. 3' heel is not fair though...they should at least all agree on the shoe. my girls are wearing long dresses and can wear whatever shoes they want, just probably all the same color

I'm not making my girls wear the same shoe. Then again, my dresses are floor length so you won't even be able to see their dresses. My sister is in a wedding this August and the bride made them all get the same shoe. Not only are they looking, but they seriously have a 4+ inch heel. My sister said she can barely walk in them and already plans on bringing flip flops that she will be changing into after the ceremony. I wouldn't want to do that to my girls.

I'm having short dresses and Im still not making them all wear the same shoes. I'll probably ask them all to find shoes in a color, or wear something they already have if they have them, but I would rather everybody be comfortable than look exactly the same. I know I don't even notice these things at weddings. And I highly doubt I will look back in 20 years and say 'oh i wish i had made them all wear the same shoes'. But thats JMO

It depends on the dress. I was in a wedding in Virginia and the bride made us all wear the same shoes. But that is because the dress was tee length. If its a long BM dress then I would say ask them to wear the same color, but not the same shoe. Everyone is going to be comfortable in something different. But if the dress is short or tee length, then I would ask my girls to all wear the same shoes.

I don't think it's fair to make everyone wear the same shoes. I'm 5'9 so I like to wear something with a smaller heel where as someone who is 5'2 might want a really high heel! I don't care what kind of shoes my girls get as long as they are all the same color.

I plan on having short dresses, I personally do not feel comfortable asking everyone to wear the exact same shoe. I will ask BM's to have the same color shoes..I really don't care what they look like, as long as the color is the same.

Personally, I don't like the idea of making BMs into clones. I let my girls do their hair whatever way they wanted, wear whatever jewelry, and any black shoes. Every person is different and what one may feel comfortable in, another might not. I even let the girls pick their own dresses, but ironically, they all picked the same one!
