Is it worth the money to cover the chairs in the reception with the white cover that ties in the back. I have seen receptions with that and think they look great but dont know if it is worth the extra money.
i think it depends on the condition of the original chairs. ours fit well with our theme (theyre a gold color) and are in great quality so we saw no reason to get chair covers. personally i think it's just an extra cost thats not necessary unless your chairs arent in great condition.
I am all for the white covers, my chairs are maroon with a brass bar and I have purple and peach in my colors so I want to cover them but my fiance says for $6.50 a chair for 150 chairs is ridiculous.
I do like the chairs of my hall, so I am not thinking about it.
The chairs at my site aren't too nice so I am covering them. White covers with a white bow.
We are having them in a very light ivory. When I saw them at the hall during one of the expos, I knew I had to have them. The Finshing Touch is doing ours and Marianne helped me. She was great to deal with.
IMHO its not worth the $.
I know its a waste of money,but I have to do something to my chairs. They are in fine condition & go with the decor, but I hate the color of them. So I don't know exactly what I am going to do, but last night we went an open house at my hall & all I kept saying to my mother was how much I wanted to do something to them! Chairs covers can get pricey, so I am nervous. Maybe will just do tulle bows to take away from the color, I don't know. I will be talking to my hall about in the next couple of weeks.
I'm having them covered (they're not so nice). My place also has the option for us to do lighted tables, which we loved and are also planning to do.
