what do you think about mixing traditional music with contemporary?
I want to do traditional processional stuff (cannon for me.) But I think I want something contemporary for the resessional - I'm thinking all you need is love.
Is anyone else mixing classic and contemp? how do you think it will sound?

Looks like you're doing your ceremony at FH...and not a church or temple.

I did..I had Canon in D for the processional and 'Here there and Everywhere'-Beatles for our vows..

I think it is a fine idea. I am going rather non-traditional myself. I want people to remember my wedding, not let it blend in with all the other ones they've attended.

I'm doing that. I'm doing Canon in D for the processional and God Only Know by the Beach Boys for the recessional (only the end of the song).
