cake topper, my friend emialed it to me, now im in love with it, the only problem is, its way out off my buffet, its about $1400 U.S OH MY The bad part about is, the colors are perfect for my theme. Honestly do these people think I have a magical tree in my backyard. Besides the price im in love with it. Im confuse, please help...what do you girls think?
It is a cake topper - don't you have other things to spend $1400 on?! If you don't, then you are lucky! Why dont you try to find someone who can make something similar?
ETA: your wedding day will be perfect regardless of what is on top of your cake!

I don't think I would spend $1400 on a cake topper. I would try to find something similar at a cheaper price.

$1400 on a cake topper is a little too ridiculous JMO, if its out of your budget don't do it....your better off blowing your budget on something more worth it- like your honeymoon or your hall.

I LOVE it-but if it were me-no I couldn't spend $1400 just because we are paying for this wedding completely on our own, and we are also looking for a house-I know the $1400 could go towards our mortage.

No way, $1400 on something that will only sit on the cake for a couple hours is crazy. But thats just me, I dont have $$ like that. If you do, go right ahead.

$1400 for a cake topper? That's insane! Though I agree it's very pretty, think about how much stuff you could buy with that in the 'non-wedding' world. I did a search on lily of the valley cake toppers (which is what I think that is) and came up with this one- I'll let you know if I find any other ones. Personally, I'd skip the $$$ cake topper but it's your day and you should do what you want to!

After pricing so many other things, I think 1400 bucks for a cake topper is an awful lot. For that same money, you could:
-hire another photographer -have a second videographer -have anywhere from 10-30 more people attend the wedding (depending on your hall pp) -add three more instruments to your band -pick up a block of 10 hotel rooms for the night before/night of your wedding
300 seems more reasonable, though I still think it's a bit much for a cake topper.

Uhhh...$1400 for a cake topper...thats ridiculous IMO... I didn't even use a cake topper and if I did I sure wouldn't spend $1400 for one...I'm sure you can find better ways to spend $1400 than on a cake topper -

its nice, but sorry, I would never pay that much money for a cake topper!! go with a less expensive alternative that some of the girls posted here. If its out of your budget, its not worth going over that for something like a cake topper!!

trust me - no one will even notice your cake topper besides you and maybe a few people planning their own weddings. . .it will be in a few pics and that is it
I would never spend over $100 on a cake topper (JMO) you can definitely find a cheaper one that will be just as beautiful - i actually like the cheaper ones suggested above better than the original

I completely agree with the other posters... $1400 for a cake topper is crazy. My dress, longline bra, headpiece and veil all together were less than that. I paid like$75 all together for my cake topper and I think even THAT is too much considering a)no one will notice/care about it b)I'll see it on my cake and in pics, but other thna that it will probably collect dust somewhere.
If I had that much extra money to drop I'd rather give a few hundred to charity or something. But thats just me.
