In light of all the recent favor posts, I started feeling like a cheapo. We are doing a donation in my dad's name to the AHA...but I started thinking it wasn't enough??
So I ordered these as favors (one for each place setting) all in our wedding colors.
I thought they were cute b/c of the name of them - 'chocolove' - not to mention that they are SOOOO freaking good.
The cutest part is that each one comes with a love poem inside.

those are really nice, and you shouldnt feel cheap at all. making a donation is a much better use for your money than on favors that people will throw away anyway.

OoOo those are cute & I think they are a very nice addition...but even if you didn't add them, your donation on behalf of your wedding guests to any credible not-for-profit org is nothing to sneeze at!

Aww, thank you. I totally agree...but I really don't want people to feel like they weren't getting anything...
Then again...I can also imagine the: 'I came to Bonnie and Josh's wedding and all I got was this fargin chocolate bar.'

they are getting a whole lot....free food & top shelf booze! honestly i wish i never got a favor when i go to weddings and showers because i chuck them as soon as i get home.

Don't worry about that!!! If they think that, then they are NOT there to celebrate with you!
I think the chocolate is great, but not really necessary. A donation favor is 100% acceptable.

Yes - they sell them at a bunch of the organic/health food stores. My friend's cousin owns the company.
