if your invited to a wedding but can't go? We have two weddings on the same day and obviously can only make it to one! I know you don't give the same amount as if you're going to the wedding so how much less do you give?
I think that depends on how much you give when you're actually going to a wedding and how close you are with the couple. I'd say $100 is appropriate if you are not attending and they are not a super close friend of yours.

$100 is perfect if you can afford it...if not maybe buy something extra special for the shower??
75-100 is a great amount, but Id probably send a gift in that amt of the registry or a gift card, rather than a check.
$100 is fine - someone sent my best friend $100 because they couldn't come to her wedding and she was very appreciative and thought it was so generous of them
I always give a nice gift from the registry (something around $100) if I cannot make a wedding and I am relatively close to the person. The last time this happened was for a friend (not a super-close friend, but we are in the same group of girls) so I have a nice vase from the registry that cost about $100.
i would go gift over money but thats just personal preference. I think $100 is generous though!
