i thought about it cause i like both...but then i found a centerpiece that will give us the hieght but still be attractive on the bottom... i dont have the jpeg at work but if you send me a FM, it will remind me to send it to you later...

its 3 high callas tied together...then low is mini callas in our colors around the base...

was this cp, we get the best of both worlds

I think it will look fine and a great way to potentially save some big $$$$

I really like. I think it makes the tables look different.

I did half high and half low at my wedding. The ballroom was huge, so I wanted to break it up. It came out beautiful. The same amount of flowers were used on both the high and low centerpieces, so I did not save any $$ there!

I like it as long as it doesn't block the view of the people sitting accross from each other. We did topiaries of black magic roses. The bottom were all rose petals and votive candles.

I like the idea and may even do that myself. Budget permitting

We alternated with high and low centerpieces and it turned out well. Adds variety/depth to the room.

Our florist suggestion we not do this only because sometime (depends on your group of course) people at the low centerpiece table feel slighted.

My future in-law family is crazy and I could definitely see this being an issue.

Just something to consider.

It really creates a lot of visual interest in the room. FH is adamantly opposed to low CPs (don't ask, I'm just happy he has an opinion on something ) so we're breaking it up by alternating the colors in the high CPs--so one would be pink roses, white hydrangea and another would be white roses, pink hydrangea, etc. I say go for it!

I am doing 2 different CP's.. but they will both have some height to them and be very similar.. I personally love the ecclectic look of doing something different on each table.. I would ask your banquet manager and your florist how they think the whole room will look.. I think if executed the right way- it would look great!
