So I went looking for invitations last week and was horrified by how expensive they are. I was quoted 1500 dollars for some of them. Now i know why you girls choose to do them yourselves. I did find a simple cute one that was affordable. But the woman said it might be too casual for a saturday night wedding. What do you girls think?
I do they are cute, but I agree, they seem to casual. I am sure you can find some less expensive options that are also formal.

I agree that it's too casual for a Saturday night, although they are adorable. I'm sure you could find a very simple and elegant invite for a reasonable price. Keep looking!

I think they are adorable.. my invitations WITH the printing is about $600, I went to Invitations and Beyond in Oceanside and they are wonderful there.. Check them out.. they are at 3330 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY 11572 516-536-3300

They are very nice invitations, but your invite is the first and only presentation to your guests as to what type of affair you are having. If it is a bit formal, you might want to look for something else.

We bought our invitations there too, and their very reasonable. But as for your question, the invites are way too casual for a Saturday evening wedding.

They are cute, but I really have to agree that they are way too casual.
Look around online and you can really find something a bit more formal for FAR less than $1500.
Try Exclusively Weddings - they have some nice invitations for very reasonable prices. You could get 100 invites with everything for about $300-800 depending on the style you get.

Cute but I think they may be too casual also. Try Carlson Craft-I ordered 125 with the receptions cards and the total was just over 500
