So I went looking for invitations last week and was horrified by how expensive they are. I was quoted 1500 dollars for some of them. Now i know why you girls choose to do them yourselves. I did find a simple cute one that was affordable. But the woman said it might be too casual for a saturday night wedding. What do you girls think?

They're very cute. I like them. Talk to Diana at Pippy Sweets she can do amazing work, way under $1500

I think 1500 is too much for invitations. You can get them for much, much cheaper. I do love those invitations though, but they are probably too informal for your wedding.
