I think it is beautiful...i love dark wood. it looks timeless too. something you can keep for a long time...in my parents house we have dark furniture, but light floors...it looks great.

I love it - its so BEAUTIFUL. You can make the set traditional or modern depending on accessories.
I have a light wood set and as much as I like it I wish I would have waited and gotten something like the one you posted.
Where is the set from?

I like it alot. I have a dark dining set that is antique. As long as you keep the rest of your DR looking light, bright and open, it will look amazing!
by light, bright and open, I do not mean all white. We went with color, but made sure the DR didn't look closed in.

i wanted to do it in a color but my dining room is open and there are windows and i will be putting in a lot of lighting. i just havent picked a color yet. i can always use the cream color that the cushion material is in as an accent color

Looks nice. I personally like darker and cherry woods better. Mine is a dark cherry - nore dark brown that red.

I love it too....I love the dark woods also. Danielle and I dont have a dining room in our apartment but this is our kitchen table.
