What do you think of this crib bedding ...

for a . It's pricey, but I like it because it's girlish without being too frilly. I'm trying to figure if it's worth it to spend the $$$ (the 5 piece set is almost $500!!) That's a lot more than I thought I'd have to spend on baby bedding...

That is very pretty. I agree it is pricey. I am trying really hard to limit myself to $350 and below for the bedding...but 5 pieces is a lot so you might not need to spend a lot on extras.

Do a search for the brand name/pattern name on google.com You might find it less expensive at other site. Also, many places will send you fabric samples in the mail just to be sure that you like them in person.

It is definitely beautiful! But I would not spend $500 on a crib bedding set. JMO

This is absolutely beautiful-- my taste exactly-- I agree with Michele you can most likely find it elsewhere for less---the fabrics are great

The bedding is made by Glenna Jean. I looked all over the internet, but this was the cheapest price. Apparently all her stuff is pricey, although not this bad..Who is this woman??

I think it's beautiful - I think it's beautiful for a girl OR a boy. It seems a little high in price...but you're also getting 5 pcs, so maybe it's not so high?

And Glenna Jean does not send out fabric samples which I think is insane, given her prices. I have looked at a few of her sets and they are really nice.

Here it is cheaper. It is a 4 piece set for $398. You might not care about that 5th piece or even need it.

The 5th piece is the pillow, which is really cute but not necessary. I might just forego it.

Bear in mind that there is no price tag that stops me if I REALLY want something, however, for the amount of time a crib bedding set will be used, and the probability of it being peed on (and worse! ), I would find something a little less pricey. JUST MY OPINION!!

You will never use a pillow since you cannot put the baby to bed with a pillow anyway..I would totally skip a pillow. Heck, I might skip the quilt since I really don't need it. I am thinking of actually knitting a red blanket instead.

I LOVE this bedding, but I would not spend the money. The bumper and mobile have to come out of the crib when they can stand so they do not use it as a 'stepping stone' to climb out. This is usually between 8-12 months old, which is not much use. The blanket cannot be used either because of a suffocation risk. Pillows are not necessary for a few years.
