What do you think of this DJ quote?

Hi everyone!!

Okay I got this DJ quote, what do you guys think?

5 hours of music
DJ
Intelligent Lighting
Uplighting
Total price $1200

You know what I am doing the small room at the Swan club and they are one of the vendors there and they even said that some places go over board and place LED lights every couple of feet. He said that 4 lights was enough. He charged me $100 per light and then gave me 1/2 off on them.

You know what I am doing the small room at the Swan club and they are one of the vendors there and they even said that some places go over board and place LED lights every couple of feet. He said that 4 lights was enough. He charged me $100 per light and then gave me 1/2 off on them.

ok that would make some sense than

i am getting 30 uplights

I know I don't have a large wedding, but I think $1000 for just lights is crazy!! IMO....

i am paying $1300 for uplighting

They are a reputable company

Don't get me wrong I am all for a deal I just get nervous when things are very cheap

yeah those lights i think are a little different. I had the 4-6 lights for my e-party. I think Rita wants the lights that change the WHOLE color of the room where if you look on the wall its the color of the light so yeah that would cost more.

Oh yeah I don't want the whole room to be in color.....And since it is the smallest room, I would think it would go a bit over board. I wanted more lights and he even told me that 4 was enough for that room. I mean I would have paid more, but even one of his workers were like OMG he went nuts with the discount!!

yeah that def adds up. Even for the 4-6 lights i paid a couple hundred for, i think maybe $600 or a little more cant remember exactly. But that type of lighting will be about what you were quoted.

ya im doing what ritas doing...about 20 lights though, and its costing $900, cuz its going to light the whole room!

so now the price makes some more sense!!

Yeah...this is definitely a great price! Our DJ was also scary cheap, and we were a bit taken aback at first, but we did some research and he is definitely reputable and awesome. If you feel comfy with him/them, your RH recommends them etc, I'd say go for it.
